The Problem

Foamstream is used by municipalities and organizations around the world as an alternative to chemical herbicides such as glyphosate, but it is new to the Turkish market. The distributor needed to explain the technology both to Turkish buyers and to organizations that read the manufacturer’s English materials.

The manufacturer’s technical documents, case studies and videos were scattered, and product and blog content had to be updatable without needing a developer.

Architecture

Interface strings live in translation files; long content such as case studies is stored in per-language columns on the same record. The chosen language is kept in the session.

What I Built

• Product Pages

  Overview, applications, technical documents and optional extras for the Foamstream L12 and M600H.

• Case Studies

  Examples of use around the world in both languages, with an optional PDF attachment.

• Document Center

  Spec sheets, comparison guides and brochures downloadable from a single page.

• Blog and Videos

  Industry news, trade show announcements and product videos.

• Pre-owned Machines

  A separate page for used and ex-demo machines.

• Admin Panel

  Products, blog posts and videos are managed from the panel by authorized users.

Hard Problems I Solved

   Bilingual Content

   I put short interface strings in Laravel translation files and long content in per-language database columns, so both languages of a case study are managed together in one record.

   Limits Against Form Spam

   I added a limit of 3 requests per minute to the contact and newsletter forms, so automated submissions don’t burden the server or the inbox.

   Search Visibility

   I wrote a dynamic sitemap covering static pages, blog posts and case studies, plus a title and description for each page.
